What the site is

ChickenCalc provides free calculators and written guides for backyard chicken keepers. No account is required and calculations run in your browser. The site is provided free of charge, and we may change, add, or remove any tool or page at any time without notice.

Estimates, not advice

Every figure on this site is a planning estimate. Real birds vary by breed, age, weather, feed, housing, and luck, and no calculator can account for a sick bird or a hard winter. Nothing here is veterinary, nutritional, financial, legal, or construction advice, and nothing here should be used to make a medication, dosage, or food-safety decision. If something is wrong with your flock, speak to a veterinarian or your local agricultural extension service.

You are responsible for how you use the results. We work hard to get the arithmetic right and to cite our sources, but we do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt or overload the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or republish substantial portions of its content as your own.

The site's text, design, and code are owned by TerraTechna s. r. o.. Product names, brands, and logos belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only. You are welcome to quote or reference our pages with a link back.
